Rawalpindi is located in the north of Pakistan it is big city of Pakistan with a lot of population and it is increasing day by day. There was a dire need of independent educational system first it was a part of Sargodha board. This was named as board of intermediate and secondary education Rawalpindi board that is abbreviated as BISE Rawalpindi. This board was formed in October 1977 that was under the Punjab board of secondary education ACT NO XIII of 1976. It was established as a bifurcation of Sargodha board. Main objective of the board is to conduct examination of 5th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th examination.

Rawalpindi board is spread so vast its jurisdiction consist of following areas districts Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum and Rawalpindi that is civil division of district. Punjab education commission that is PEC it was established in the year 2005 with main purpose of controlling and monitoring examination of 5th and 8th class. Examinations by the board are conducted in various languages like Urdu, English and other classical languages. There are many private and government schools and colleges affiliated with the board. 5th and 8th class examination are not compulsory by the board.

Secondary school certificate is matric examination as matric consist of two parts matric part I and matric part II, part I is 9th class and part II is 10th class. Examination of SSC is conducted in the month of March and April. Registration for examination start in the month of January and these forms are posted to many affiliated colleges and school these forms are also provided online. After registration roll number slips and date sheets are provided to students in the month of February and examination are conducted in the month of March and April. After that students wait for results these are announced in the month of June and July this is declared on the official website of the board and we will display it on our website too.
