This board was formed in October 1977 it was actually formed as a bifurcation of Sargodha board in 1977. Board of intermediate and secondary education Rawalpindi was formed under the Punjab Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education ACT NO XIII of 1976. Board is so wide spread and provides education to many students in the area of following jurisdiction districts Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum and Rawalpindi that is civil division of district. 8th Class Result 2025 of BISE Rawalpindi Board

Main purpose of the board is to provide students with curriculum, date sheets and syllabus.
